Comment: These Greenland dogs are phenomenal workforces for the Inuit, they are his best companions and part of his family. Guiding these heavy sledges on the icy fjords in wintertime is dangerous and requires an innate inner strength which few have. The musher does not have reins, the only guidance of his dogsled team happens through a continuous vocal incitement of his dogs, which he names one after the other, like a karma.
