Comment: On an exhilarating skiing trip to Laponia (which was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996) in Swedish Lapland I climbed a beautiful gorge on my skis one day. Upon exiting the gorge I faced gale wind forces on top of the mountain area - but at the same time the sun appeared together with these spectacular sun dogs. It was a magical moment with me as the only human being in the middle of nature's fascinating harsh beauty.
