Note: Almost impossible conditions in pitch darkness with heavy floodlights. This image was taken during a cruise which was a collaboration between the coastguard and The University Centre in Svalbard (UNIS) to recover a scientific mooring which was at risk of between destroyed by the surging Tunabreen glacier seen in the picture. The sailors are trying to locate the mooring. A weak aurora can be seen above the glacier.
